Mr. Sanchez is an experienced technology executive with over 25 years in banking and financial services, with a strong track record of executing large-scale technology initiatives that align directly to business growth and operational efficiency. As Chief Information Officer of Hanover Bank, he is responsible for setting the bank’s technology direction, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and delivering scalable, cost-effective solutions that support the organization’s continued expansion.

Under his leadership, Hanover has executed a full core banking conversion to FIS, implemented a cloudfirst operating model in Microsoft Azure, enhanced digital account opening capabilities, and modernized its branch and infrastructure footprint. His focus remains on driving practical innovation, improving operational performance, and ensuring technology investments produce measurable business value.

Prior to Hanover, Mr. Sanchez served as Senior Vice President at Dime Community Bank (formerly BNB Bank), where he played a key role in the successful merger of the two institutions. He led critical technology integration efforts, improved customer-facing platforms, and introduced disciplined governance and change management practices. He also guided the organization through complex operational challenges, including the rapid transition to a remote workforce, while maintaining stability and performance across core systems.
